1Template is an expert AI-powered resume builder designed to help users stand out in today’s competitive job market by crafting perfectly optimised resumes.

As the CTO and Co-Founder of 1Template, I joined my business partner at the start of 2024. Together, we have worked tirelessly to achieve our full product launch in November 2024. The journey has been incredibly rewarding, marking my first experience as a founder. This role has been a significant learning curve, and I am both excited about what we’ve accomplished and energised by the road ahead.

What began as a passion project—helping a friend of a friend bring his innovative idea to life—quickly grew into something much larger. Our mission: to revolutionise resume building by combining professional-grade tools, relevant advice, and intuitive design. This opportunity gave me the creative and technical freedom to draw upon the full breadth of my career experience.

Working closely with my business partner, we built a robust product on a MERN stack, integrating powerful tools like Stripe for payments, AWS for storage and infrastructure, and Clarity for user insights, including videos, heat maps, and event tracking.

Our initial growth has been promising. Following a closed-beta testing phase with friends and family, we ensured the product was polished and ready for a successful launch. Since then, 1Template has continued to evolve. Every day brings new lessons—whether technical, strategic, or personal—as we refine our product and scale the business.

I’m deeply passionate about creating solutions that make a meaningful difference to users and businesses alike. 1Template embodies this passion, and I am proud to be part of a project that truly ticks all the boxes.
